Weekender in de Stijl colors

The Weekender in painted poplar, in the colors of de Stijl, built to order in the studio.

Gerrit Rietveld designed the crate furniture in 1934. Metz & Co advertised the line in 1935 as weekend furniture, which is where the name comes from.
